The duration of this season is very short, lasting just about a month, from mid-March to the end of April. The tradition of cherry blossom viewing dates back to ancient times, when nobles wrote poetry and sang songs beneath the blooming trees. The shape and color of the petals reflect people's ideal image of peace and grace. Whenever the breeze touches the delicate petals of the cherry blossoms, the surroundings are filled with pink petals and the beautiful fragrance fills the air.
